So the players have started to arrive and it looks like they like what they see. First to share the beautiful views and tanned links of Gullane’s composite course from Gullane Hill was the European Tour.
Gullane Golf Club’s very own flyover is worth a watch if you’re planning a weekend spent watching the Scottish Open live on Sky Sports or NBC’s Golf Channel.
While not Gullane but neighbouring North Berwick, former Scottish Open Champion Luke Donald was teasing his fans with a late evening picture of the links. A quick 9 at North Berwick anytime of the day, Luke.
10pm North Berwick, anyone up for a quick nine??? #GolfInScotland A photo posted by lukedonald (@lukedonald) on
Defending Scottish Open champion Justin Rose stopped by one of the world’s best known 19th holes, St Andrews’ Jigger Inn en route to East Lothian. St Andrews – Gullane is around a 90 minute drive or perhaps for Justin and team Rose a short helicopter ride?
Showing @ollie_gtgolf how it’s done at St Andrews! Stripe it down the middle at 17 then pop in to the jigger for a pint! A photo posted by Justin Rose (@justinprose99) on
