The Marine Hotel which overlooks the 18th hole at Royal Troon is the latest iconic golf hotel in Ayrshire to be put up for sale. An often popular base for visiting golfers who enjoy its adjacent location to the golf course, dinning in the Two Fat Ladies Restaurant and who often can me found drinking with the locals in the Arran Bar.
This 89 bedroom, twentieth century build comes on the market shortly after another famous Ayrshire hotel Turmberry was purchased this year by Donald Trump. Golfing options are plentiful and range from Open Championship venues to golf at rural Machrihanish and will sure entice many golfers in years to come to the southwest corner of Scotland.
When considering Troon is only 30 minutes from Scotland’s largest city Glasgow and with the Open Championship returning in 2016, this £7million asking price could be quite the steal.
So investors if you’re interested I can make myself available in mid July 2016. It could be some garden party.
