New American air route to The Home of Golf will allow golfers the opportunity to travel through the night and arrive in time for an early morning round on some of Scotland’s famous links.
Golf enthusiast, Gleneagles member and Chairman of Visit Scotland Mike Cantlay welcomed the news,
“In 2014 we welcomed the world to The Ryder Cup, and we now look forward to welcoming more of our American friends from New York and beyond to discover Scotland, the Home of Golf, for themselves.”
The new service between New York’s JFK Airport and Edinburgh, Scotland’s largest airport will be operated by American Air. Flights from Edinburgh will depart Flights leave JFK at 7.10p.m. daily, arriving in Edinburgh at 7:15 a.m. (the following day).
