Why you shouldn’t bring a cheap umbrella on a Scottish golf trip

Selecting the right equipment for your golf trip to Scotland is very important. As the guys at Moray Golf Club point out when playing a great Scottish links course in 40 mph winds your purchase of a cheap golf umbrella won’t end well.

Moray Golf Club was founded in 1889 with the original 18 holes laid out by Old Tom Morris. A popular ‘hidden gem’ this classic links lies in the heart of the Speyside whisky region in between the golfing regions of the Highlands and Aberdeen. During the early years of the Club, members included a number of distillers many of which remain part of the membership to this day.
