Graylyn and host Ru discuss Graylyn’s upcoming road trip which will see him play the big name courses of Royal Dornoch, Brora, Castle Stuart and some lesser known golf experiences isolated in the north of the Scottish mainland.

The podcasting pair look set to peg it together at Skibo Castle’s Carnegie Club so be sure to look out for another episode very soon.

“It was my first visit to Crail Balcomie (the older of the two golf courses at Crail) located just 20 minutes drive from St Andrews. The course itself isn’t the most scenic, nor does it offer the shot values of some other courses on Scotland’s coast but what it does have is bundles of character.

While playing I couldn’t help question the layout which is far from condusive to those of a claustrophobic nature. The narrow stretch of links land crames over a dozen holes, many which criss-cross each other. That said the course offers visiting golfers all the key characteristics found in the finest of Scottish links golf courses; sea views, links terrian, links shot values, history and warmth of welcome.”
