1910 Archive Video From Cruden Bay Golf Club

A promotional video for a new bed & breakfast in the town of Cruden Bay shows footage of golf being played on the links around 100 years ago.

The video shows the grand railway hotel which stood overlooking the course just back from where the current clubhouse is now erected connected to the railway by an electric tram seen pulling up to the hotel. The holes shown appear to be the 6th tee of the St Olaf Course (25 seconds) known to be one of the original holes laid out by Tom Morris and now part of the inner 9 holes which the Championship Course works it’s way around and the current 6th tee of the Championship Course.
